Settlement Negotiator

Job Summary

Owning the settlement and lien phase of cases, the full-time Settlement Negotiator will negotiate bodily injury settlements with insurance carriers and reduce medical liens, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate bodily injury settlements with insurance carriers and adjusters to achieve optimal outcomes
• Reduce and resolve medical liens through coordination with subrogation vendors and healthcare plans
• Manage a high volume of files, deadlines, and SLAs, ensuring persistent follow-up with involved parties

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury lien or settlement negotiation, bodily injury adjusting, or paralegal work
• Experience coordinating lien resolution with subrogation companies, including Medicare/Medicaid and ERISA plans
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines effectively
• Demonstrated sense of urgency and ownership in pursuing resolutions
• Familiarity with AI tools and concepts
