Job Summary
Responsible for the overall administration and management of SharePoint environments, the full-time remote SharePoint Administrator will ensure peak functionality and performance, automate tasks, and manage data security and integrity.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and maintain multiple SharePoint farms, including installations and configurations
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal operation
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripting technologies such as PowerShell and collaborate with cross-functional teams on enhancements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in SharePoint environments
- Expert knowledge of SharePoint 2013/2016 and experience with PowerShell scripting
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 concepts and web-based technologies such as IIS, ASP.NET, HTML, and CSS
- Understanding of SQL Server database maintenance and disaster recovery concepts
