SharePoint Migration Engineer

Job Summary

SharePoint Migration Engineer, a contract position that is fully remote, responsible for executing migrations from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online, performing post-migration activities, and troubleshooting issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end migrations from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online using ShareGate
• Perform post-migration activities including validation, permissions cleanup, and issue resolution
• Analyze and migrate complex site structures, libraries, lists, and metadata

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with SharePoint migrations (on-prem to SharePoint Online)
• Strong hands-on experience with ShareGate for large-scale migrations
• Proficiency in PowerShell for automation and migration support
• Deep knowledge of SharePoint Online (site architecture, permissions, governance)
• Experience with migration planning, execution, and validation
