Short-Term Disability Appeals Analyst

Job Summary

Managing a caseload of disability appeals, the full-time Senior Appeals Analyst will evaluate claims, collaborate with specialty resources, and provide exceptional customer service while working remotely or onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and evaluate assigned disability appeals cases
• Utilize internal and external resources to support claims processing
• Identify opportunities for improved claim management and provide feedback on handling

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Short and/or Long-Term Disability claims
• Preferred experience in Disability Appeals
• Knowledge of ERISA and state-specific disability requirements
• Proficiency with claim systems and Microsoft Office applications
• College Degree preferred
