Job Summary

Making timely and accurate decisions on Short-Term Disability claims, the full-time salaried Short-Term Disability Claims Analyst will engage with various sources to gather necessary information, analyze claims against applicable contracts, and ensure compliance while providing exceptional customer service in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Make accurate claim decisions by gathering and reviewing relevant information from clinical, vocational, and financial sources
• Document claims comprehensively and maintain high efficiency while meeting departmental performance metrics
• Provide empathetic customer service, anticipating and addressing claimant needs to build trust and confidence

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in disability claims
• Knowledge of Short-Term Disability, Statutory Disability Insurance, or Absence Management
• Bi-lingual skills are a plus
