Short-Term Disability Supervisor

Job Summary

Leading a team of specialists in a national remote capacity, the full-time Short-Term Disability Supervisor will manage the processing of Short-Term Disability claims, drive team development, and support service excellence while ensuring adherence to quality standards and service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and develop team members through performance management discussions and training resources
• Drive team culture and engagement by leading initiatives and facilitating team meetings
• Handle administrative duties related to HR functions, including new hire interviewing and reporting

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in an office, claims, or customer service environment
• 3+ years of experience handling Short-Term Disability claims
• 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Windows PC applications
