SIEM Automation Consultant
Job Summary
To support enterprise customers in optimizing security orchestration and automation solutions, the remote SIEM Automation Consultant will design and implement Cortex XSIAM/XSOAR playbooks, lead automation solution integrations, and serve as a trusted advisor throughout security transformation processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize Cortex XSIAM/XSOAR automation playbooks to enhance incident response efficiency
- Lead the implementation of security automation solutions, integrating with SIEM, EDR, and third-party platforms using Python and REST APIs
- Analyze customer security operations and translate business needs into scalable automation solutions
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting
- Hands-on experience with Cortex XSOAR and/or Cortex XSIAM automation playbooks
- Strong Python development skills with experience in RESTful APIs and JSON
- Experience in Security Operations (SOC) environments with knowledge of incident response processes
- Familiarity with enterprise security technologies, including SIEM and EDR solutions
