Job Summary

To support a growing demand for language services, the part-time Sinhalese Remote Interpreter will provide over-the-phone interpretation for medical and legal calls, working remotely from anywhere in the world with a focus on scheduled sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide over-the-phone interpretation services for medical and legal calls
• Handle prescheduled calls to ensure consistent availability and support
• Maintain a reliable and quiet workspace to facilitate effective communication

Required qualifications

• Professional experience as a Medical and/or Legal Interpreter preferred
• Experience handling Tier 1 calls in Customer Service and Social Services
• Strong command of both Sinhala/Sinhalese and English
• Availability for prescheduled calls
• Reliable internet connection
