Job Summary

To enhance community engagement and provide insightful content, the remote Contractor Site Expert for Rockets will focus on producing daily articles, supporting contributors, and managing social media interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the publication of multiple daily content pieces, including news and analysis related to the Houston Rockets
• Edit and provide feedback on articles from contributors, while suggesting relevant topic ideas
• Manage the site's social media accounts to share articles and engage with the fan community creatively

Required qualifications

• Strong knowledge and passion for the Houston Rockets and basketball in general
• Experience in content creation or sports writing, preferably in a digital media environment
• Ability to engage with a community and build a vibrant online presence
• Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly Twitter and Facebook
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as an independent contractor
