Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join their remote Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure applications meet availability, scalability, reliability, performance, and SLA goals
• Architect, develop, automate, and configure observability tools and monitoring scripts
• Proactively monitor, analyze, and tune systems, services, networks, and applications

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in SRE, Systems Administration, or DevOps roles
• Preferred minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of experience with monitoring technologies like New Relic or Datadog
• 2+ years of Linux administration and shell scripting experience
• 1+ year of SQL administration experience, preferably with MySQL
