Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join their engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of critical systems and applications
• Maintain live services through effective monitoring and measurement strategies
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve service design, delivery, and performance

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS or MA/MS in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2-5 years of experience administering cloud environments, including AWS and GCP
• Experience with orchestration tools, such as Kubernetes and ECS
• Knowledge of application security, monitoring, and storage management
• Experience developing production code and managing applications like MySQL and Postgres
