Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability and operational excellence of their AWS-based data platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and improve the reliability, stability, scalability, and performance of core data platforms and services
• Lead incident response and perform root cause analysis to implement durable fixes and automation
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize performance, reliability, and cost of data systems

Required Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in building or operating systems across multiple architecture domains
• 4+ years of hands-on AWS experience, particularly with Redshift, DynamoDB, EMR, and S3
• Proven experience operating data platforms such as data lakes and data warehouses in production
• 4+ years of Python experience, including scripting and automation
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data/Analytics, or related field; equivalent practical experience welcomed
