Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to support their transition into a SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement monitoring and alerting systems to minimize downtime
• Lead incident response efforts, including root cause analysis and post-mortem reporting
• Analyze and optimize system performance in collaboration with development teams

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role, preferably in a SaaS environment
• Proficiency in AWS and experience with cloud-based services
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and OpenSearch
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation and troubleshooting
