Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to enhance platform reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the health and performance of production services on Heroku and AWS
• Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and optimize application and database performance
• Collaborate with teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related fields
• Deep experience managing applications on Heroku and AWS
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform
• Strong understanding of web application performance, particularly in a Ruby on Rails environment
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
