Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Share responsibility for the health and performance of production services on Heroku and AWS
• Help define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and error budgets for key services
• Optimize application and database performance and collaborate with the backend team on performance-critical components

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in Site Reliability, DevOps, or related roles managing infrastructure
• Deep experience managing applications on Heroku and AWS
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions
• Strong coding skills and experience in diagnosing and fixing web application performance issues
