Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Site Reliability Engineer is a full-time position focused on enhancing platform reliability and performance, utilizing a software engineering approach to solve infrastructure challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of production services on Heroku and AWS
• Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and maintain security best practices

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in Site Reliability, DevOps, or related roles managing infrastructure
• Deep experience with Heroku and AWS applications
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Strong coding skills and familiarity with web application performance in a Ruby on Rails environment
