Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Site Reliability Engineer, a full-time position responsible for enhancing the reliability and performance of production services on Heroku and AWS, optimizing application performance, and collaborating on infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of production services, proactively resolving issues
• Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and optimize application and database performance
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline improvements and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related roles
• Deep experience with Heroku and AWS applications
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions
• Strong coding skills and familiarity with web application performance in a Ruby on Rails environment
