Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Site Reliability Engineer, a full-time position focused on enhancing platform reliability and performance through automated solutions and collaboration with the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve issues in production services on Heroku and AWS
• Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and optimize application performance
• Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and participate in on-call rotations

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in Site Reliability, DevOps, or related roles
• Deep experience managing applications on Heroku and AWS
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions
• Strong coding skills and familiarity with web application performance issues in a Ruby on Rails environment
