Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Site Reliability Engineer, responsible for enhancing platform reliability and performance in a full-time remote position, utilizing software engineering skills to solve infrastructure challenges and support production services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the health and performance of production services on Heroku and AWS, proactively identifying and resolving issues
• Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and optimize application and database performance
• Collaborate with the engineering team to improve CI/CD pipelines and maintain infrastructure using Terraform

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related fields
• Deep experience with Heroku and AWS applications
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions
• Strong coding skills, particularly in a Ruby on Rails environment
