Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Site Reliability Engineer, responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of production services on a remote, full-time basis, while collaborating with the engineering team to build automated, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of production services on Heroku and AWS
• Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and optimize application and database performance
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline improvements and maintain infrastructure using Terraform

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in Site Reliability, DevOps, or related roles
• Deep experience managing applications on Heroku and AWS
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform
• Strong understanding of web application performance in a Ruby on Rails environment
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
