Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Site Reliability Engineer, a full-time position focused on enhancing the reliability and performance of production services using Heroku and AWS, optimizing application performance, and implementing Infrastructure as Code practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of production services on Heroku and AWS
• Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and optimize application and database performance
• Collaborate with the engineering team to improve CI/CD pipelines and implement security best practices

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related roles
• Deep experience managing applications on Heroku and AWS
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions
• Strong coding skills, particularly in a Ruby on Rails environment
