Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Site Reliability Engineer, a full-time position focused on enhancing platform reliability and performance through automation and collaboration with the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the health and performance of production services on Heroku and AWS, proactively resolving issues
• Define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and optimize application performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline improvements and maintain infrastructure using Terraform while participating in an on-call rotation

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related roles
• Deep experience with Heroku and AWS applications
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions
• Strong coding skills, particularly in Ruby on Rails, and familiarity with monitoring tools
