Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
Site Reliability Engineer, an experienced professional is sought for a full-time remote position to ensure the availability and performance of large-scale distributed systems while applying software engineering principles to operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and refine service-level objectives (SLOs) and indicators (SLIs) for critical services
- Lead incident response and resolution for production issues, ensuring effective post-incident reviews
- Design and implement monitoring, logging, and tracing strategies for system visibility
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Five or more years of SRE, DevOps, or production engineering experience
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java for automation and tooling
- Deep experience operating Linux at scale and managing Kubernetes environments
- Hands-on experience with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana
