Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Site Reliability Engineer, responsible for applying software engineering principles to enhance system reliability and performance in a full-time remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of production services on Heroku and AWS
• Define Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and optimize application performance through code and infrastructure improvements
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and implement security best practices

Required Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related roles
• Deep experience with Heroku and AWS
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions
• Strong coding skills, particularly in a Ruby on Rails environment
