Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a forward-thinking software development company, the full-time remote Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will ensure the availability and performance of large-scale distributed systems, applying strong software engineering principles to operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and refine service-level objectives (SLOs) and indicators (SLIs) to drive engineering decisions
• Lead incident response and resolution for production issues, ensuring effective post-incident reviews
• Design and implement monitoring and logging strategies using tools like Prometheus and Grafana for actionable system visibility

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of SRE, DevOps, or production engineering experience with large-scale distributed systems
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java for building automation and tooling
• Deep experience operating Linux at scale, including networking and performance tuning
• Production experience with Kubernetes and container-based workloads
