Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a dynamic remote team in a full-time capacity, responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of large-scale distributed systems while driving operational excellence through automation and engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and refine service-level objectives (SLOs) and indicators (SLIs) to drive engineering decisions
• Lead incident response for production issues, ensuring effective post-incident reviews
• Design and implement monitoring and logging strategies for actionable system visibility

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of SRE, DevOps, or production engineering experience with large-scale distributed systems
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java for automation and tooling
• Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes and container-based workloads
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK/EFK
