Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of large-scale distributed systems, leading incident responses, and automating operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and refine service-level objectives (SLOs) and indicators (SLIs) for critical services, driving engineering decisions based on these metrics
• Lead incident response efforts and conduct post-incident reviews to implement lasting improvements
• Design and implement monitoring and logging strategies to provide actionable visibility into system behavior

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or production engineering for large-scale distributed systems
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java for building automation and tooling
• Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes and container-based workloads
• Deep experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK/EFK
