Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of large-scale distributed systems, leading incident response, and automating operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and refine service-level objectives (SLOs) and indicators (SLIs) for critical services to drive engineering decisions
• Lead incident response efforts and conduct post-incident reviews to foster continuous improvement
• Design and implement monitoring and logging strategies to enhance system visibility and reliability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of SRE, DevOps, or production engineering experience with large-scale distributed systems
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java for automation and tooling
• Hands-on experience operating Linux at scale and managing Kubernetes and container-based workloads
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK/EFK
