Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the migration from Heroku to Google Cloud Platform, the full-time Site Reliability Engineer will build and maintain critical infrastructure, optimize performance, and ensure production reliability in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the migration from Heroku to Google Cloud Platform, ensuring a seamless transition
• Build and maintain the Postgres core, Fivetran pipeline, and BigQuery data layer
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively manage production reliability and performance

Required qualifications

• Proven experience owning production reliability at scale with concrete incident management examples
• Hands-on experience with cloud migrations, particularly to Google Cloud Platform
• Strong skills in observability and proactive operations, including monitoring and alerting
• Demonstrated high agency in identifying and resolving reliability issues independently
• Experience integrating AI into operational workflows for improved efficiency
