Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of large-scale distributed systems while applying strong software engineering principles to infrastructure and operations challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and refine service-level objectives (SLOs) and indicators (SLIs) for critical services, using them to guide engineering decisions
• Lead incident response and resolution for production issues, ensuring effective post-incident reviews for continuous improvement
• Design and implement monitoring and logging strategies to provide actionable visibility into system behavior

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of SRE, DevOps, or production engineering experience with large-scale distributed systems
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java for building automation and tooling
• Deep experience operating Linux at scale, including networking and systems-level troubleshooting
• Production experience with Kubernetes and container-based workloads
