Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of large-scale distributed systems while applying software engineering principles to enhance operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and refine service-level objectives (SLOs) and service-level indicators (SLIs) to drive engineering decisions
• Lead incident response and resolution for production issues, ensuring effective post-incident reviews
• Design and implement monitoring and logging strategies to provide actionable visibility into system behavior

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or production engineering for large-scale distributed systems
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java for building automation and tooling
• Hands-on experience operating Linux at scale and managing Kubernetes and container-based workloads
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/EFK
