Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Software Engineer III - Site Reliability will own the reliability of production services, enhance security in the software delivery pipeline, and lead incident responses while collaborating with the PEAS team to improve CI/CD processes.
Key responsibilities
- Own and evolve SLI/SLO and error-budget frameworks to influence product decisions
- Lead incident response efforts and drive postmortems to implement systemic fixes
- Build and maintain observability across metrics, logs, and traces to improve signal and reduce alert fatigue
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in site reliability, platform, or infrastructure engineering with senior-level ownership of production systems
- Strong programming skills in automation and tooling (Go, Python, Typescript, or similar)
- Deep experience with major cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Proven track record in leading incident response and building SLO-driven reliability practices
- Working fluency with observability tooling (Datadog preferred)
