Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely from South Korea, the full-time Site Reliability Engineer will enhance, optimize, validate, and automate a cloud-native storage platform, ensuring high-performance and scalability while collaborating with customers and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance and automate core MinIO software for performance, scalability, and security
• Build and deliver high-performance distributed storage solutions focused on cloud-native architectures
• Collaborate with engineers to refine architecture, APIs, and integrations while conducting performance benchmarking

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering
• Experience in DevOps, GitOps, and cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, containers, microservices)
• Strong proficiency in Go or deep experience in C/C++/Rust with a willingness to learn Go
• Deep understanding of storage systems, file systems, or databases
