Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the organization's site reliability framework, the remote Infosec Site Reliability Engineer will design and implement SRE practices, collaborate with InfoSec and engineering teams, and manage observability technologies over a 6-month contract.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement foundational SRE practices including SLIs/SLOs and incident management
- Partner with InfoSec and engineering teams to define reliability standards and drive the adoption of SRE principles
- Develop operational runbooks and automate incident workflows to improve system resilience
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or Infrastructure engineering
- 2+ years of experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as NewRelic, Prometheus, and Grafana
- 2+ years of cloud experience, particularly with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with incident management systems, like PagerDuty
- Familiarity with ITSM platforms, specifically ServiceNow and API integrations
