Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely during EST hours, the full-time Site Reliability Engineer will design and implement foundational SRE practices, partner with InfoSec and engineering teams to define reliability standards, and drive the adoption of SRE principles across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement foundational SRE practices, including SLIs/SLOs and incident management
- Establish and drive adoption of SRE principles across teams while providing guidance to onboarding organizations
- Integrate and optimize alerting and on-call workflows, and develop operational runbooks and playbooks
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure engineering
- 2+ years of experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as NewRelic, Prometheus, and Grafana
- 2+ years of cloud experience, preferably with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with incident management and on-call systems, such as PagerDuty
- Familiarity with ITSM platforms, specifically ServiceNow, and integration via API
