Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
To ensure the smooth operation of critical infrastructure, the remote Site Reliability Engineer will deploy software for Cloud Prem and SAAS customers, respond to system incidents, and collaborate with engineers to improve incident response processes over a 5-month contract.
Key responsibilities
- Deploy software for Cloud Prem and SAAS customers while monitoring and maintaining infrastructure health
- Respond to and diagnose system incidents, implementing effective resolutions and documenting processes for future reference
- Provide tier 2/3 technical support to customers, collaborating with technical teams to resolve complex deployment and integration challenges
Required qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering
- 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms and automation tools, particularly AWS
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Linux, AWS networking, and Terraform
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
