Job Summary
To support the operation of critical cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, the full-time Site Reliability Engineer will build, operate, and scale production systems, define observability standards, and participate in an on-call rotation, all while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and scale production systems in Microsoft Azure, ensuring availability and performance targets are met
- Define and track SLOs/SLIs and error budgets in collaboration with engineering and product teams
- Reduce operational toil through automation scripting and build CI/CD pipelines for safe and frequent development team deployments
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in an IT Operations, DevOps, or SRE role
- Hands-on technical experience with Microsoft Azure in a production environment
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and/or Bicep
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language, such as Python or TypeScript
- Experience defining and tracking KPIs/SLOs for web-based applications
