Job Summary
To support a growing technology organization, the contract-to-hire Site Reliability Engineer will manage and maintain critical infrastructure across AWS and on-premises environments, focusing on Kubernetes administration and Linux systems while working remotely in the United States.
Key responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes (K8s) clusters across AWS and on-premises environments
- Support and optimize Linux-based infrastructure, ensuring stability, performance, and availability
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions utilizing Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
Required qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related field
- Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters in AWS and/or on-premises environments
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts; exposure to Ruby-based environments is preferred
