Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing platform, the full-time Site Reliability Engineer will extend self-service datastore provisioning, implement observability and disaster recovery defaults, and transform recurring support requests into reusable features, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Extend the self-service datastore platform with automation and guardrails for product engineering teams
• Implement observability, alerting, and backup/disaster recovery as built-in defaults for every datastore
• Convert recurring reliability issues and scaling questions into platform features or AI tooling for team use

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar infrastructure-focused role
• Proven experience managing or building tooling to support production infrastructure in AWS and Kubernetes
• Experience delivering working software to production, including tooling or platform services
• Strong fluency with AI coding tools like Claude
• A unique perspective and transferable skills that contribute to the role
