Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
To support a massive-scale dynamic infrastructure, the full-time remote Site Reliability Engineer will build, maintain, and operate the infrastructure platform for services relied on by millions globally, focusing on performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a distributed, global ecosystem of cloud instances, containerized workflows, and Linux servers supporting billions of requests daily
- Support transactional database infrastructure and NoSQL data storage engines, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Provide architectural and operational support to software engineers while implementing security programs and monitoring best practices
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of systems/platform engineering experience
- Experience building globally-distributed systems and strong understanding of security best practices
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Familiarity with container-based architectures, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS and comfort in writing SQL queries
