Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Site Reliability Engineer will enhance, optimize, validate, and automate a cloud-native storage platform, collaborating with customers and engineering teams to ensure high performance, scalability, and durability of data storage solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Enhance and automate core MinIO software for performance, scalability, and security
- Build and deliver high-performance distributed storage solutions focused on cloud-native architectures
- Collaborate with engineers to refine architecture, APIs, and integrations while addressing customer issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering
- Experience in DevOps, GitOps, and automation/testing frameworks
- Strong proficiency in Go or deep experience in C/C++/Rust with a willingness to learn Go
- Expertise in distributed systems, networking, or high-performance computing
