Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
To support the evolution of a Tier 3 Support Engineering team into a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) organization, the full-time remote Site Reliability Engineer will manage complex production support escalations, enhance product reliability, and drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own complex production support escalations and provide hands-on troubleshooting and resolution
- Partner with Software Engineering to investigate production issues and implement permanent solutions
- Build observability across products and define SLIs and SLOs to measure system reliability
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on Site Reliability Engineering experience with a focus on production reliability
- Strong knowledge of SLIs, SLOs, observability, and automation practices
- Experience building monitoring and telemetry using tools like Grafana and New Relic
- Strong programming and scripting skills for troubleshooting and automation
- Experience with production incident management and root cause analysis
