Job Summary
Improving the availability and performance of cloud solutions, the full-time Site Reliability Engineer will enhance observability and resilience while collaborating with various teams in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own reliability outcomes for assigned cloud services and improve observability, capacity, and recovery
- Automate repetitive NOC tasks and create mechanisms for diagnosis and recovery
- Lead technical incident responses and contribute to post-incident reviews for continuous improvement
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or related fields
- Strong software automation skills in Python, Go, Java, or similar languages
- Hands-on experience with distributed production systems in a public cloud environment
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience
