Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
To support a Cloud and Technology company, the remote SRE Private Cloud (Linux) will architect, build, and manage scalable private cloud infrastructure while focusing on automating operations and improving platform reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable private cloud infrastructure and orchestration platforms
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Monitor and optimize platform performance, reliability, and security while participating in on-call rotations
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise-scale infrastructure design and support, with a background in Systems Administration or Engineering
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Ruby, or Scala, with a preference for a bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
- Hands-on experience with private cloud technologies like VMware and public cloud platforms such as AWS
- Strong expertise in Linux administration, including system configuration and performance tuning
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes and infrastructure automation tools like Ansible or Terraform
