Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
To support a Cloud and Technology company, the remote SRE Private Cloud (Linux) will architect, build, and maintain scalable private cloud infrastructure while focusing on automating operations and improving platform reliability.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable private cloud infrastructure and orchestration platforms
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Monitor and optimize platform performance, reliability, and security while participating in on-call rotations
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise-scale infrastructure design and support with a background in Systems Administration or Engineering
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Ruby, or Scala, with a preferred bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Hands-on experience with private cloud technologies including VMware and public cloud platforms like AWS
- Strong expertise in Linux administration, preferably Ubuntu, with skills in performance tuning and automation
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes and infrastructure automation tools like Ansible or Terraform
