Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
To support a massive-scale dynamic infrastructure relied upon by millions of users, the full-time remote Site Reliability Engineer will build, maintain, and operate cloud instances and containerized workflows while ensuring system performance, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining a distributed ecosystem of cloud instances and serverless applications supporting billions of requests daily
- Providing architectural and operational support to software engineers and maintaining transactional database infrastructure
- Implementing and overseeing security programs, including vulnerability remediation and patch management
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of systems/platform engineering experience
- Experience building globally-distributed systems and strong understanding of security best practices
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with container-based architectures including Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with AWS and other cloud infrastructure platforms
