Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
A company in the Information Technology industry is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer.
Position Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the core infrastructure for the company's engineering teams
- Automate infrastructure to remove human intervention and identify and address reliability risks
- Partner with product engineering teams to debug production outages and improve system reliability
Qualifications
- Experience with Terraform, Packer, and Linux/Unix systems
- Understanding of large-scale complex systems from a reliability perspective
- Ability to identify root causes of instability in a distributed system and bring a developer mindset to infrastructure
- Experience with cloud-based solutions, containerization, and configuration management software
- Experience with messaging systems and various data stores
