Site Reliability Engineer (UK)

Job Summary

Focused on Remote Device Management, the full-time Site Reliability Engineer (UK) will ensure the stability, security, and scalability of the LocusONE platform by managing edge devices and developing observability pipelines in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust device management strategies for remote devices using UEM and MDM solutions
• Develop observability pipelines to monitor device health and performance metrics across various warehouse environments
• Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot system failures and perform root cause analysis for reliability improvements

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Robotics, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Systems Engineering with a focus on IoT or distributed edge hardware
• Deep proficiency in Linux/Unix systems, including kernel tuning and shell scripting
• Expert proficiency in Python, Rust, or Go-based configuration management for fleet-wide deployments
• Experience with enterprise MDM or Unified Endpoint Management platforms
