Site Reliability Engineering Director

Job Summary

Leading a skilled Site Reliability Engineering team in a hybrid full-time role, the Site Reliability Engineering Director will establish a vision for the team, define quarterly objectives, and ensure robust and efficient systems and processes for the Stellar ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Establish a clear vision and mandate for the Site Reliability Engineering team, aligning with company goals
• Define and track metrics across engineering, holding teams accountable for their KPIs
• Design and build reliable systems and infrastructure, while participating in 24/7 on-call rotations

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer and managing an SRE team
• Proven track record in collaborating with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Experience in designing and maintaining highly-available infrastructure for large distributed systems
• Familiarity with configuration management or Infrastructure as Code tooling, such as Terraform or Ansible
• Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with remote team members
