Job Summary
Leading the establishment of a site reliability engineering function, the full-time Contract Lead, Site Reliability Engineering will build and oversee infrastructure for development and customer deployments in a hybrid environment while ensuring operational excellence and reliability across multiple platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Define and establish the SRE function, including team charter, technical roadmap, and operational standards
- Build and lead a team of SRE engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
- Develop and implement SRE processes, including SLIs, SLOs, incident management, and observability frameworks
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 15+ years in SRE or infrastructure engineering
- 5+ years of experience leading SRE or infrastructure engineering teams, including building functions from the ground up
- Deep expertise in Linux systems, networking, and enterprise shared storage platforms
- Fluency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible at production scale
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or Go for production services automation
